Itaewon Skin Food Experience

So I headed down to Itaewon today to try out Wolfhound Irish Pub's fish and chips (I was craving for some and they weren't really worth the 13,900won...), as well as to explore the area when I ended up finding myself chatting to a sales assistant in Skin Food.
I do love it when the sales assistants in Korea can speak in English, you can ask so many questions about skin care products and they can recommend you certain stuff. This has only happened so far in a couple of stores in Myeongdong, the Etude House in Anam, and including this one!

I didn't end up buying anything since I was down to around 15,000won. I was doing a bit of browsing to familiarise myself with what products Skin Food had to offer. I felt bad when I told the sales assistant that I was low on money today and couldn't really afford anything, but I said I will return once I got my Korean bank account sorted!

L'oreal's Mousse Absolue: Very Light Frosted Blonde 1021

After having seen L'oreal's Mousse Absolue hair dye being advertised on the Boots website a week prior at an introductory price of £8.99, I decided to give this a try.

Yes, I gave up the idea of getting Prettia's Rose Tea Brown despite it only being a few pounds more expensive at around £11, which is basically how much Mousse Absolue would retail at starting from mid-April - £10.99.

L'oreal Mousse Absolue is marketed as an 'innovative' re-useable hair dye. I had to visit the main website for a more detailed explanation since Boots wasn't in-depth enough. In sum it's basically foam hair dye in a spray can. Almost like hair spray: you spray on the necessary amount required (obviously enough to cover your hair), clean the nozzle, pop the lid on, and leave it on your bathroom shelf until you need it again for future touch ups. 

Very handy and convenient. Far less tedious and time-consuming in comparison to other dyes out there which would require you to squeeze the tube of colour into a developer bottle - I always spend a good minute or two making sure every little bit of colourant comes out.
Looking at the diagrams for the Mousse Absolue, it hold two canisters - a developer and colourant, and mixes the two together within the nozzle once it's pressed. Meaning the developer and colourant is kept separate for future use - no product wasted!

Now that I'm back home from university for Easter break it's time to think about dying my roots! Initially, I was thinking that maybe it's best to save £10 for Korea and try out some British dyes instead, which can be risky since it can leave my hair looking a tad ginger as well as darken it. Not exactly what I want because I really want lighter and brighter hair for Summer.

Rooftop Prince & The King 2 Hearts Finale, I Do I Do, and Queen InHyun's Man.

I'm on a K-drama roll this year. Really. I haven't seen this many dramas consecutively in ages.

I'm writing this entry within the comfort of my own room, back home, in Ipswich. Yes I just finished my first year of university, it feels so damn surreal. Feels just like yesterday when I spazzed about moving into Leeds with my friend to start my university life. And here I am now, trying to comprehend how fast time has gone by...

Anyway, back to the main topic of this entry. I shall be talking about 'Rooftop Prince' and 'The King 2 Hearts' finale - spoilers ahead, thoughts on the first two episodes of 'I Do I Do', and 14 episodes of 'Queen InHyun's Man' - I have a lot to say about this drama mainly due to Ji HyunWoo.

'The King 2 Hearts' and 'Rooftop Prince'

And so with the demise of 'The Moon That Embraces The Sun' 2 weeks ago I was left feeling lost and saddened upon the fact that I would be unable to see Hwon (Kim SooHyun) and YangMyung (Jung IlWoo) on my laptop screen again. I will dearly miss them.
Especially the eunuch with a Chopper-like grin, HyungSun. The comic relief and pistachio to the drama.

However, it's sucessor, 'The King 2 Hearts' (however it is spelt), having been featured on EpDrama's video player countless times before I viewed the last few episodes of TMTETS caught my interest, for it had appeared that Ha JiWon and Lee SeungGi (I thought it was Song JoongKi at first because of the angle) would be playing the lead roles.
BAM.
Instant interest.
Having loved Ha JiWon from 'Secret Garden' and Lee SeungGi in 'My Girlfriend is a Gumiho' I was intrigued as to how this pairing will fare in a drama. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a HyunBin and JiWon shipper after 'Secret Garden', hah.

MY FEELS: TMTETS Episode 20

And so, the finale aired on Thursday night in Korea, peaking pretty much at 52% (rounded number) viewership which could pretty much reflect its success and popularity.
In reality this is partial, merely because it is the final episode where the rebellion took place, countless deaths occurred and we get to see Hwon and YeonWoo together at long last.
Events that would grab any viewers attention, not necessarily in a good way.

Death petitions...I can't-

Seriously questioning the mental state of humanity right now.

Honestly, there's a Facebook group hating on Block B as well as hoping for them to commit suicide right now. Actually, nevermind a small scale Facebook group full of ignorant narrow minded people monsters, there's plenty of this kind of species out there in the world right now signing petitions that would demand seven lives to be taken from this world.
Jesus fucking christ, why are people belittling/devaluing the values of life?

Us BBC's have it hard.

I'm talking about Block B fans.

Once again Block B has landed themselves in another controversy.
Honestly, how many controversies have they been in already? Soy sauce, bracelet, "no homo"...It's pretty saddening.
Nevertheless, such controversies are bound to happen due to the extensive amount of freedom that Cho PD has bestowed upon them - or to be exact the ideology of acting freely and to not conform to the acts of a typical idol. Which is fine and dandy for me, actually it's an ideal for me personally. I'd rather fangirl over truer personalities than 'framed' ones, because then I wouldn't feel lied to. This factor is one of the main reasons why I like Block B, but that's something to talk about another day.
So, in sum of this paragraph, what I'm trying to say is: "With great power comes great responsibilities."
To further explain, Block B has been given the power to act freely, they can act however they like on camera. Arrogantly, human-like and potentially foolish. As human beings, and more importantly idols, they must be held responsible for their actions. In the case of Block B they hold more of a responsibility than their company, BrandNewStardom, simply because they choose to act however they like, not the company.

Today I have finally finished watching Starsuckers in my Media Studies class.
What is Starsuckers? A documentary film exposing the "shams and deceit involved in creating a pernicious celebrity culture." Mainly based upon the UK.
